Sam is my friend he just fired with his Boss because he can't restore back the important database company …!, I am so surprised why sam not take high priority about Backup making Disaster Data Recovery Plan , I listen sam story until finished I want to know the history why he can't restore the important database.

As Database administrator we must take high priority for Backup Plan , this backup plan not only doing daily backup database but also consider with major risk or problem, I suggested making a check list about all items that should be backup include hardware and location to keep save a backup data, don't look a simple about backup , if you have a critical data you have to make a good plan about data recovery
